Shakespeare Foundry Egypt/Dar Metal
Established in 2006 Shakespeare Foundry Egypt is a specialist in the manufacturing of heat and wear
resisting components for the mining, mineral, power, rail way, and cement manufacturing industries.
Dar Metal was established in 2002, at the start it was the supplier of scrap metal to Shakespeare
Foundry and later began manufacturing metal, and castings as well. Dar Metal was the supplier and
representative of ELG Haniel in the UK.
We are an independent group company for stainless design, manufacturing and distribution worldwide. We have a customer base consisting of 60 % global clients from 40 different countries. We are part of a group of manufacturers for steel products and castings which was established in 1982 which is made up of multiple companies world-wide, such as Shakespeare Foundry Group in the U.k. All expertise and know-how was transferred and effectively used by Shakespeare Foundry Egypt. We acquired their entire client base. Shakespeare Foundry Egypt implemented the automation of design and manufacturing of patterns, as well proprietary designs of patterns and steel castings.
Shakespeare Foundry produces steel alloy castings up to 1 ton to all international standards. The flexible approach to scheduling allows, in the case of a customer breakdown, the introduction of short lead time runs without affecting planned production The aim is to satisfy every event our customers may face. Shakespeare Foundry has expanded operations to include manufacturing facilities in Alexandria, as well as 6th of October city in Egypt. Our vision for the future in casting is to focus in design and engineering, as well as research and development of single castings, as well as supplying full product scope for machinery such as gas turbine generators (see below)
